How ROARR! uses cookies and similar technologies, including the choices you control.

1. What Cookies And Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local browser storage, scripts, pixels, web beacons and temporary security tokens. This policy explains what the live ROARR! website uses, why it is used and how you can control it. Read it with our Privacy Policy. The relevant rules include UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
Strictly necessary technologies operate automatically where they are needed to provide or secure the service. Analytics and marketing technologies are off by default and load only after the relevant affirmative choice. You can browse roarr.co.uk and continue through book.roarr.co.uk without accepting optional tracking. Continuing to browse is not consent.
2. What We Use, And Why
The live website uses or can use the following technologies. Optional analytics and marketing rows remain inactive unless you consent to their category:

Google Analytics 4 is used across roarr.co.uk and book.roarr.co.uk only after analytics consent. With consent, a short-lived _gl linker parameter can pass an encoded first-party analytics identifier when you follow a ROARR! booking link, preventing the visit from being split between subdomains. ROARR! does not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postal addresses or payment details to Google Analytics. Google advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied, and the Google tag is not requested before analytics consent.
The Veritonic script is used only for Bauer Media radio-campaign attribution. ROARR! sends one view event after marketing consent. Our audit of the current Veritonic EU script found no normal persistent visitor cookie or local-storage identifier, but the network request still shares the technical information described in the table.
Booking pages at book.roarr.co.uk are part of the ROARR! service and honour the same consent record. The checkout does not load marketing technologies. Separately operated legacy ticketing or payment services may use technologies described in their own cookie and privacy information.
3. Managing Your Cookie Choices
On your first visit, ROARR! presents the choices relevant to the service you are using. Your stored choice is shared across roarr.co.uk and book.roarr.co.uk:
- On the marketing site, Accept all and Reject all are both available on the first layer; the checkout offers Accept analytics and Reject all.
- Customise lets you switch analytics and marketing on or off separately.
- Where a close control is available, closing the banner or pressing Escape continues with necessary technologies only and records that choice.
- You can ignore the banner and continue browsing. Optional tracking remains off until you make an affirmative choice.
Your Choice
Use Cookie Preferences in the marketing-site footer or Manage cookies in the checkout footer to change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawal is shared across ROARR! subdomains, prevents future optional measurement and removes ROARR! Google Analytics cookies where the browser allows.
